Support Assistant for Tallahov and Winden Daily Activities

We are currently seeking 2 support assistants, one for Winden's daily activities and one for Tallahov's daily activities!

Your New Job

As a support assistant with us, you will play a vital role in creating a meaningful everyday life for the participants. Your role is to provide support, guidance, and inspiration in the activities that the participants engage in. Throughout your work approach, you will employ a low-affect response and utilize the methods ESL and MI.

The activities are individually tailored based on each participant's abilities, needs, and interests. Since you will be working with different individuals, routines, working methods, and structures may vary. We offer activities both indoors and outdoors year-round, in all weather conditions. As both participants and the operation have varying conditions, it is necessary for you to be adaptable in carrying out your assignment. In your work, you will collaborate with the various professionals present in the operation, such as work instructors and support pedagogues. Social documentation is also part of the job.

For the position at Tallahov, we are looking for someone with an interest in creative activities and dogs, as well as experience with dogs. For the position at Winden, we seek someone with an interest in industrial work and outdoor work.

Your Competence

For the title of support assistant, a completed and approved program in health and care/nursing assistant with specialization in the disability area/psychiatry or a child and leisure program with a focus on social work or educational work is required. Alternatively, other education that the employer assesses as equivalent.

You must be proficient in Swedish in speaking, writing, and reading comprehension. A requirement for both positions is that you have a B driver's license for manual transmission.

Since both positions are daily activities for individuals with mental health issues and neuropsychiatric disabilities, we are looking for someone with prior work experience with this target group. You have previously worked with the methods ESL, MI, and low-affect responses.

We are looking for someone who is secure, engaged, and professional in your role as a support assistant. You work independently, take initiative, and are flexible in the changing situations of everyday life. With a calm and stable demeanor, you create security for the participants you support.

You have good collaboration skills and build trusting relationships through a relationship-building and respectful approach. With pedagogical insight and a creative attitude, you find new ways to motivate and support each participant. Your analytical and problem-solving abilities enable you to adapt support to needs and contribute to a structured and qualitative everyday life for the participants.

Welcome to Us

Tallahov's daily activities are located next to southern Munksjön and focus on recycling, creativity, and a dog daycare.

Winden's daily activities are located at Kålgården and focus on packaging, bicycle workshops, and general service. The operation also performs gardening and transportation to sorting yards.

Both operations are based on a health-promoting approach where the individual's resources are utilized and strengthened through self-determination, participation, and influence.

Good to Know

The recruitment concerns 2 full-time positions. Working hours are scheduled during the day from Monday to Friday. The start date for the positions is by agreement. We work with joint planning, which means that work in other units within daily activities will be relevant. Recruitment is conducted with ongoing selection and interviews.
